ECHO RECORDS is a boutique studio nestled on a small holding in Noordhoek, surrounded by nature and horse livery — an environment that naturally inspires creativity. The space is intimate, hands-on, and deeply personal, designed to make artists feel at ease while expressing themselves freely.
The studio caters to a wide range of music styles — from rich, live sounds to polished modern production. Unique touches like cozy, color-adjustable lighting and hand-crafted acoustic panels add to the warm, inviting atmosphere we promote. At the heart of the studio is a commitment to authentic collaboration, where every project is shaped with care, intention, and a genuine love for the craft.
THE PRODUCER
Hi, my name is Christian Wing. I am a 25-year-old music producer from Cape Town, South Africa with almost a decade of experience in my craft. My work centers around creating, nurturing, and exploring the feeling of connection. With my degree in Psychology I wanted to understand what drives us as humans to act, to engage, and to feel. I believe that there is no one answer but found that music has the ability to make us do all these things. Through my work as a full time producer, I aspire to create that sense of connection, to inspire movement and action.
THE MANAGER
Hi, my name is Tom Salter I’ve had the great pleasure of loving and growing with the studio for many years — I know its ins and outs, its quirks, and its charm. I’ve been part of the music scene my whole life and have never stopped loving it. I’m a drummer myself, and likely the one you’ll find on call if you ever need one. My motivation lies in fostering creativity — supporting both emerging and established artists as they bring their musical visions to life in the studio. I have many fond memories of this space and the people who’ve passed through it — and I look forward to meeting you.
